21 Grams

This is the softer side of 7 Miles to Pittsburgh.

A melancholy song about loneliness, solitude and seclusion during the miles and miles of travelling.

You find that, although you are working around the clock, you have plenty of time to reflect on life, past, present and future.

Maybe TOO much time.

Beware, though… Anxiety is your travelling companion… it’s easy to lose your mind.

Same Size Soul

Here’s our (7 Miles to Pittsburgh) second ‘insight’ into our upcoming self tiltled debut album.

Same Size Soul was one of the first idea’s we had floating around.

The video was shot in the same rehearsal ‘space’/studio we recorded the album, using our iPhones...

Nothin’ fancy, but it gives you an idea of how we went to work.

Pittsburgh

I wrote the lyrics, like I always do, in the studio, half an hour before they pushed record.

I like that pressure. I’ve been to Pittsburgh many times. This is a concise recollection of the memories I have of this true, blue collar city. Fast, furious, and yet so fragile.

They don’t make ‘em like that anymore…
